Requirements : Degree/Diploma (NQF Level 6) in HRM or relevant equivalent qualification with a minimum of 2 years’ appropriate experience in Human Resource Management excluding experience as an intern or Grade 12 with 10 years’ appropriate experience in Human Resource Management. In-depth knowledge of relevant prescripts and legislations such as the Public Service Act, Labour Relation Act, etc. Excellent administrative skills (planning, organizing, and coordinating), sound knowledge of PERSAL and OSD for all categories. Computer literacy. Good interpersonal relations, good communication skills, and ability to work under pressure. Duties : Adhere, implement and monitor personnel and salary policies and procedures. Implement and monitor PILIR, appointments transfers, translations, overtime (normal and commuted) as well as allowances in general. Monitor the implementation of the recruitment and selection process. Terminations i.e. Pensions. OSD implementation. Adherence to deliverology. Audit files and record-keeping including filing. Submission of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Attend meetings. Supervision of HR Clerks. Apply disciplinary procedures and maintain confidentiality. Evaluate the performance of subordinates quarterly and annually. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
